String Arrangements
String arranger for Holy Holy’s Hello My Beautiful World, nominated for Best Rock Album at the ARIA Awards and Australian Album of the Year at the J Awards. The album debuted at #4 on the ARIA Albums Chart and #1 on the ARIA Australian Albums Chart, with two tracks placing in the 2021 Triple J Hottest 100. The title track, Hello My Beautiful World, was also recognised by the Environmental Music Prize. Toby created and produced the album’s string arrangements, with performances by The Letter String Trio, including the title track featuring spoken word by Timothy Carroll.
Three of those arrangements were later reworked for Holy Holy’s Sweet Bitter Sweet, which was nominated for the 21st Soundmerch Australian Music Prize.

Holy Holy Deliver Much-Needed Positivity With ‘Hello My Beautiful World’

The music featured in the 2026 international tour trailer is Liberi Noctis, composed and produced by Toby Alexander.
Original music and orchestral arrangements for BIG Live’s commercial touring ballet production Dracula, presented across the United Kingdom, United States, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
Toby was engaged to create music for the 2025 Australia and New Zealand production of Dracula. His contribution included the Act I finale original composition Liberi Noctis, scene transitions, pre-show and interval music, and additional musical material for the production.
Toby’s work continues to form a part of the 2026 international tour.
The production is being presented at major venues including the London Palladium (UK), Sadler’s Wells (UK), Edinburgh Festival Theatre (UK), the Orpheum Theatre (USA), Hamer Hall (Australia) and Sydney’s State Theatre (Australia).
The overall musical direction, including the broader repertoire, was selected and curated by BIG Live.
